Let’s say for a moment that you have acquired the stunning House Beautiful 2022 Whole Home in Atlanta and are now throwing an open house.
You show visitors through the home’s luxurious rooms and vast gardens (accepting compliments, of course).
The owner’s suite is the ideal place to unwind after everyone has left since it is a private space that was created to your specifications, furnished with items that are meaningful to you, and planned with your comfort and convenience in mind.
Niki Papadopolous and Mark Williams, designers with Mark Williams Design, set out to design a suite that suited every necessity, and they were successful.
Here are a few of the features that transform this main bedroom into a luxurious sanctuary.
1. Unwind in a comfortable sitting area.

Looking to relax in the evening?
Take advantage of the designated sitting area in the suite.
Richly colored painted paneling and a calmingly monochromatic floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround give the room a sophisticated but homey vibe.
Although the lounge has a separate design from the bedroom, the richly embroidered drapes with floral patterns are repeated throughout the suite to visually connect the spaces.
2. Closets with High-Tech Equipment to Keep You Always Perfectly Dressed

Location, location, location may be the most important factor when buying a home, but when it comes to bedrooms, you can never have enough closet space!
The lavish his-and-hers dressing spaces in this opulent owner’s suite are given a generous amount of space, and even better, they have cutting-edge clothing-care gadgets that go well beyond an ironing board and a portable steamer.
The compact LG Studio WashTower (above left) hides nicely behind a door in the dressing room of this suite and combines a washer and dryer into one unit.
But this appliance’s cutting-edge nature goes beyond its simple look.
The WashTower uses artificial intelligence to determine the quantity of the laundry load and the textures of the materials.
Your clothing are properly handled without any guessing on your side thanks to sensors that pick the optimum wash cycle and dryer temperature.
The magic of the wardrobe doesn’t end there.
With the LG Studio Styler steam closet, which is the second laundry miracle in the suite, even clothing that won’t hold up to washing, including suits, sweaters, and delicates, may appear like you just got it home from the shop (above right, with the mirrored door).
The Wifi-enabled Styler uses steam to eliminate smells and wrinkles while refreshing and sanitizing clothing that you want to wear again.
With no trouble, no chemicals, and best of all, no visits to the dry cleaner, clothes come out looking freshly pressed.
If, for example, you discover midday that you need a certain outfit for an occasion that night, you may even start initiating clothes care from your phone.
3. A personal courtyard for serenity

The glass doors in the sitting area fold up to provide access to a small patio while inviting an abundance of natural light.
This piece of green is all yours, all alone. Soak in the sun, look up at the stars, practice yoga, play with your pets.
4. A Home Coffee Bar to Brighten Mornings

The 2022 Whole Home’s main kitchen offers all a chef might want and more.
However, having access to fresh coffee may improve any morning.
Before your eyes are even completely open, you may prepare your own cup at the built-in coffee bar in the main suite.
Under-counter refrigerator drawers with easy access store components for cocktails, cold brew, or cream.
5. A Small Art Gallery to Display Treasured Pieces

Art is a crucial component of home design and, maybe even more so than furniture and materials, it conveys the individuality of the homeowner.
The 2022 Whole Home has stunning artwork wherever you look, but the designers also gave the principal suite’s interior corridor a gallery makeover.
The residents may display the pieces of art that have the greatest personal importance to them in the rooms where they spend the most of their time thanks to the designated area.
